Since being admitted to the California Bar in 2013, Dalton B. Phillips has devoted his practice to obtaining recovery for individuals who are catastrophically injured. During his career, he has managed a diverse and high-volume caseload, securing over $150 million in settlements and verdicts for clients across a wide range of matters – including negligence, defective products, premises liability, government claims, dangerous conditions of public and private property, industrial and construction accidents, traumatic brain injuries, amputation, spinal cord injuries, catastrophic burns, bicycle accidents, auto accidents, rideshare (UBER/LYFT) accidents, workplace harassment, medical malpractice, dog bites, airplane/aviation accidents, accidents involving commercial vehicles, and violations of California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act (Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation).
Dalton has advocated on behalf of those injured by the recklessness or negligence of others. He reviews each case from every angle, works with forensic and other professional experts, and employs numerous resources in order to help his clients obtain financial compensation for their losses. Dalton has recovered numerous seven and eight-figure settlements and verdicts on behalf of his clients.
Dalton is dedicated to serving clients through the State of California and across the country with the assistance of local counsel. Dalton is admitted to the California Bar and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Central District of California. He is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), the Consumer Attorney of California (CAOC), the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA), Orange County Trial Lawyers Association (OCTLA), and the National Crime Victim Bar Association.
Dalton graduated from Whittier Law School in 2013 and received several awards for achievement during law school, including the CALI Excellence for the Future Award. He received his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University where he was a member of the football team, a two-time varsity letter recipient, a two-time Academic All-Big East selection, and a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honor Society.
In his free time, Dalton enjoys reading, working out, fishing, camping, snow-sports, football, and spending time with his wife and three children.
